The Austrian Pinscher is known since 18 centuries what we can judge on pictures of those times on which the dog almost identical with a present Pinscher is represented.

This Pinscher was used as a working dog who should help the peasant in all. The Pinscher grazed cattle and helped to overtake it, protected the house and caught mice and rats in a court yard.

Now the Austrian Pinscher is popular in the homeland, and here outside of Austria practically is not known. For today a Smoouth Pinscher - the hardy country dog possessing a sound health. It is simple in the maintenance and is unpretentious to meal.

It does not suffer presence of other dogs, is venomous and cocky. She is the ideal sentry dog reacting to each noise and with well expressed territorial instinct.

With the owner at it confidential relations, but for this dog the owner is not authority. As soon as possible it is necessary to begin education of this dog, patiently and consistently training it.

Active and frequent walks are necessary to a Pinscher, it is a lot of movements and the company. This dog will approach the vigorous person who likes to travel or go in for sports.
