To black terrier of all half a century. Breed is deduced in nursery situated near Moscow "Red Star" in post-war years. A black terrier - the magnificent powerful and hardy guard dog bearing in blood of several working breeds of dog.

Its ancestors concern four different groups of breeds. The name is caused by that the bearded dog in Russia associated with a terrier earlier, except that, use of an airdale at creation of new breed and has induced its founders so it to christen
The black terrier makes very impressive impression which amplifies for the wool account. It is strong, mobile, dexterous, hardy, fearless and is counterbalanced, however possesses exact and lightning reaction.

At sufficient physical activity on walks and regular care of a wool (which demands a hairstyle) the black terrier is quite convenient and in apartment, despite the sizes. Besides, purely washed up combed out dog does not smell and does not fade, despite a wool abundance.

It is important that, despite the big sizes, this dog demands a few forage: dense warm "fur coat" and the counterbalanced character allow to spend energy economically.

Skilled owners consider that in a diet meat products should prevail. Because the black terrier decorates a dense beard from the point of view of hygiene it is more rational to use a dry feed for large breeds.
