VALEE SHEEPDOG

Â
Under the manuscripts concerning the Middle Ages, it is known that in those days on plains of Poland it was possible to meet average dogs with the shaggy wool, sheep guarding flock.
In the beginning the XX-th century number of these dogs was insignificant. In 1924 year at an exhibition the Polish shepherd's dogs who have formed a basis for directed cultivation of this breed that has prevented its extinction have been presented.
In 1963 year Polish Nizinny the sheepdog has been recognised FCI. Today these dogs can be seen in a role of shepherds. They have completely turned to house favourites though have kept the shepherd's and sentry abilities.
Polish Nizinny the sheepdog differs live, but moderate temperament, easily gives in to training and prefers close contact to "the" family. He/she is the pleasant partner by nature allocated with an instinct of protection.
Â

VALEE SHEEPDOG With strangers behaves in the beginning with watchfulness, but it is not aggressive. At sufficient movement - long walks or sports meets - Polish Nizinny the sheepdog becomes the pleasant house friend who is perfectly getting on in city conditions.
The dog differs good appetite and is inclined to completeness, therefore it is not necessary to overfeed the Polish sheepdog and to give it too high-calorie food.
The dense shaggy wool protecting a sheepdog from a bad weather, should be to the touch rigid and rough, an underfur - dense and soft. Care of a wool provides combing of times in a week and in two weeks.
At regular combing the wool remains pure without bathing. According to the Polish standard tails Polish Nizinny stop to sheepdogs. Sometimes puppies are born with scanty tails that happens extremely seldom.
